Singer Budi Doremi recently released his latest work titled Ramadhan Penuh Cinta. This is also the first time for the 39-year-old singer to write a song about Ramadan.

When met at Kapanlagi Youniverse, Central Jakarta, on Monday (25/3), Budi Doremi explained that this song was created in a short period of time. He mentioned that the lyrics for the song Ramadhan Penuh Cinta were completed in just three days.

Budi also felt that this song posed more challenges for him. It's because Budi, who was on vacation with his family, had to be disturbed because he was mandated to create and sing the song Ramadhan Penuh Cinta.

"Quite difficult because of limited time. Writing the lyrics only took three days. This song is difficult because it was worked on during a family vacation," said Budi Doremi.

"While on a family vacation, I was given the mandate to create and sing this song," he continued.

When asked further, Budi explained that there is no special meaning implied in this song. This song is an encouragement for Muslims to observe the fasting of Ramadan.

"Ramadan full of love is actually just superficial, there is not much implied message in this song. It's just a frame, so if asked what message it has, let's just have the spirit of fasting," he said.

In addition, he also shared the inspiration behind writing his new single. Apparently, his childhood memories of Ramadhan became Budi Doremi's main idea in writing the lyrics.

"From my childhood memories of Ramadhan because the best memories are when we were fasting during Ramadhan," he explained.

"For me, Ramadhan was enjoyable during my childhood, so I want people to experience it from their point of view," he added.
