The woman initially left her house to work as a migrant worker in Singapore. This is a photo of her house at that time, which was still made of bricks and had not been plastered with cement.

Some even compared her house to a goat pen because it was very simple and not yet refined. She took the risk of going to Singapore in hopes of changing her and her family's destiny.
