Gilang revealed that he had started a business while he was still studying in college. At that time, he built a small business providing motorcycle washing services. He also revealed that at that time, the business he built was quite simple, charging around Rp 5000 for each customer.
Every day, he could get 50 customers. The revenue he earned every month was not that big compared to his current income. At that time, he made a profit of around Rp 800 thousand to Rp 1 million every month.

Not only starting a motorcycle washing business, during college Gilang also worked as a freelance tour leader. It was this job that eventually introduced Gilang to Shandy, his wife.
Gilang revealed that before owning various luxurious vehicles with fantastic prices, he used to travel by riding a worn-out motorcycle. He even mentioned that because of the vehicle he rode, he was often rejected by women.
However, he was finally introduced to Shandy who accepted him as he is. He stated that Shandy was the one who was willing to accompany him in building a business from scratch.

At the beginning of their journey in building a business, Gilang revealed that he and Shandy lived very frugally. They even had a very tight budget for meals. According to him, at that time he and his wife only allocated Rp 15,000 worth of food per day.
His wife's patience in accompanying him made Gilang feel very grateful. According to him, the success he has achieved now is thanks to his wife's support.

Not only did Gilang build a motorcycle washing service business, but he also tried other business opportunities. He started a mat production business in the area where he lived at that time. He successfully marketed his mats and fulfilled orders in that area.
Not only that, Gilang also worked as an employee at a private bank after graduating from college. His consistent motorcycle washing business managed to attract investors' attention. As a result, he was able to expand the business and establish branches in other cities with his own brand.

Not inferior to her husband, Shandy also made efforts to build her own business. She used to be a reseller of beauty products produced by others.
The business she started in 2013 turned out to be quite successful. The sales of these beauty products provided monthly income for their household.

After successfully selling various beauty products, Shandy made a big leap by creating their own beauty product brand. They also established a clinic which at that time became the first beauty clinic in Malang.
The clinic is named MS Glow. Now, this beauty clinic has spread to several other cities. They have successfully built 7 MS Glow clinics in several cities in Indonesia.
