EMTEK Cares for Corona Distributes 100,000 Masks for West Java

Kapanlagi.com - EMTEK Cares for Corona continues to strive to distribute various aid through the Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) to help communities affected by Covid-19. In collaboration with the TNI and Polri, this time YPP distributes PPE to several hospitals and health centers.

On Thursday, June 11, 2020, Chairman of YPP who is also the President Director of Indosiar, Mr. Imam Sudjarwo, located at Polrestabes Bandung, directly handed over 100,000 masks to the West Java Police Chief, Inspector General Pol. Rudy Sufahriadi. 

Not only that, 3,000 food packages were also handed over through the Alumni AKABRI Class '89, which is a combination of the TNI AD, AU, AL, and POLRI, to help distribute to residents affected by Covid-19. Each package contains 5 kg of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 kg of flour, 1 kg of sugar, 4 packs of instant noodles, and 3 cloth masks.

YPP also provides aid in the form of food packages with the same contents for residents of West Java in Ciburial Sukarame. 200 packages for residents and 150 other packages distributed by the SCTV and Indosiar Transmission Offices in the city of Bandung. This assistance is expected to alleviate the economic burden of each family affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The day before (10/6), EMTEK Cares for Corona also handed over aid to RSUD Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi. The assistance provided consists of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consisting of 100 hazmat suits, 50 foot covers, 500 surgical masks, 60 N95 masks, 50 face shields, 50 safety goggles, 500 safety gloves, and 500 cloth masks.

Gratitude was expressed by one representative from the hospital who received donations through YPP. "Thank you Emtek and YPP for the PPE assistance provided to RSI Asysyifaa Leuwiliang Kab. Bogor. This donation is very helpful for us in handling, monitoring, and caring for COVID-19 positive patients, which has reached more than 100 patients so far," said Eka Yusniawati, representative of the Management Administration and Finance of RSI Asysyifaa Leuwiliang Kab. Bogor.
