EMTEK Donates 10 Thousand Packages of Basic Needs to Help People Affected by Covid-19 through the Ministry of Social Affairs

Until Tuesday, April 28, 2020, a fund worth IDR 11,154,790,625 has been collected by the Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP), which is also part of EMTEK, from the support of SCTV and Indosiar viewers, Bukalapak users, and Liputan6.com readers.

Since mid-March, the EMTEK Cares for Corona program has distributed various medical assistance to various hospitals and communities affected socially and economically by the COVID-19 outbreak throughout the archipelago.

Monday, April 27, 2020 The Chairman of YPP who is also the President Director of Indosiar, Mr. Imam Sudjarwo, directly handed over 10,000 rice packages to the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Juliari P. Batubara, at the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

During the process of distributing aid, all parties adhere to the health and safety protocols established by the government, which include maintaining distance (physical distancing) and always wearing masks. In fact, the aid was immediately placed in the predetermined positions.

2. Distribute Medical Equipment

In addition to rice aid, EMTEK also distributed various medical equipment on Monday, April 28, 2020. The aid was sent to RS Karya Bakti Pertiwi-Bogor, Cikeusik-Pandeglang Health Center, and RSU Subang-Banten.

Each distribution target received 100 hazmat suits, 500 surgical masks, and 80 N95 masks. This medical equipment is certainly useful for healthcare workers on the front lines. Other aid that EMTEK Cares for Corona realized includes 4 liters of disinfectant liquid and 1 sprayer unit for residents of Cimanggis Kel. Cisalak, Sukmajaya, Depok.

3. Will Continue to Distribute Aid

The delivery of health equipment aid will continue. The plan is, today, Wednesday (29/4), EMTEK Cares for Corona will distribute aid in the form of 100 hazmat suits, 500 surgical masks, and 80 N95 masks to Puskesmas Pajagan - Banten, RSUD Bendan Pekalongan - Central Java, and RSUD Bagas Waras - Central Java. Disinfectant fluid and sprayers are also planned to be distributed to the Ciawi - West Java and Tajur Halang - Bogor regions.
