Kapanlagi.com - Kreatif Lokal Award 2020 is part of the Festival Kreatif Lokal 2020, where participants from the creative industry come from various regions in Indonesia. Starting from Aceh, Java Island, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, to NTB and Papua.
Now, there are 30 best SMEs remaining to compete for the highest award in the final judging held on October 18 and 25, 2020. Among them, most of the SME players are in the productive age range of 21-35 years, and the majority are women.
From the initial stage, a total of 1079 SMEs registered and participated. They went through the initial selection process, including business authenticity, level of sustainability, and business projection, as well as meeting the requirement of running the business and selling their products digitally for more than one year.
Here, 30 participants were selected to enter the semi-final round on October 14, 2020, and successfully chose 18 finalists from 6 creative economy categories.
The UKMs that successfully qualified are ala bala bear, Ezmour, and Semilir Ecoprint in the Fashion category. Then, Baskoro Manjer Kawuryan, Congwayndut (Keroncong Wayang Gendut), and Serumpun Lima Studio for the Performance category. In the Photography category, there are Kotak Narsis, Mball Digital, and Smagz Studio/Fireworks Photography. In addition, in the Culinary category, there are Dapur Chantique, Dewi Home Crab, and Wayo Strawberry.
In the Video category, there are Aceh Documentary, Kisah bersama Studio, and Riplay Studio. Lastly, in the Craft category, there are Bangsawan Indonesia Tekstil, Dekar dekor shop, and Tenuneboon.
Swandajani Gunadi, Director of Human Resources and Marketing at Adira Finance, who was interviewed during the event, said, "The final judging will use evaluation variables such as business innovation and creativity, business portfolio, presentation, as well as the positive impact of their business on the surrounding environment and the creative economy ecosystem in Indonesia," he explained.
"In the final round of Kreatif Lokal Award 2020, the UKMs will receive additional evaluation variables in the online judging session. This judging will be divided into two sessions, the first on October 18, 2020, for the Fashion, Performance, and Photography categories, and on October 25, 2020, judging will be held for the Craft, Culinary, and Video categories. In each session, the Jury Board will provide evaluations based on the participants' motivation, the products' results, and their impact on the surrounding environment, as well as the participants' long-term commitment to their products and businesses," he concluded.
