When questioned by the media after the examination, Iqbal chose to remain silent, only answering briefly, "Let's not, we might have problems later," while avoiding the questions posed.
The KPK is currently investigating astonishing allegations related to the managed funds of Taspen amounting to Rp1 trillion, which are suspected to have flowed through various problematic investments. This massive fund is suspected to have been used for illicit transactions that could potentially harm the state.
Investigators have found traces of fund flows to several securities, including PT Sinarmas Sekuritas, which is now under scrutiny. Indications of irregularities revealed include stock price manipulation, mutual fund engineering, and suspicious sukuk purchases.
