This woman from Semarang shares her inspirational story of how she started a business that she has been involved in since the age of 16. It started from trying her luck as a reseller of various products through social media, and after 3 years, she finally dared to establish her own brand that sells various hijab products. Adinda chose Shopee as the main platform to start her business, which she named 'Hijab by Adinda' in 2017. Adinda chose Shopee not without reason. At that time, she saw the great potential of Shopee's outstanding features and promotions, such as Free Shipping, as a way to reach a wider range of users throughout Indonesia. In starting her business, Adinda did all the production processes on her own and faced difficulties in generating significant capital from her earnings. Holding the principle of avoiding debt, Adinda finally sought ways to maximize the use of the Shopee platform. One of his efforts is by participating in trainings provided by Shopee through the Shopee Campus program. Slowly, his business started to grow together with Shopee and was able to generate increasing income every year.
The programs and campaigns regularly presented by Shopee always successfully provide significant sales growth for Adinda's business, starting from participating in the Shopee 12.12 Birthday Sale campaign last year to the Shopee Export Program that brought her products to the global market. Adinda's Hijab products have reached countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and even Brazil since joining the Shopee Export Program in 2018, which was the first opportunity for Adinda to reach consumers abroad.
By joining Shopee, Adinda's business continues to grow until now. Adinda now has 3 warehouses and can employ 50 employees, most of whom are residents around her place of residence. "I still can't believe that I am at this point at the age of 24. Initially, my business was considered small, I didn't have employees and the production process was still done at my parents' house. But by joining Shopee and with the various support provided, I was able to buy the first warehouse for Hijab by Adinda at the age of 19, and also create job opportunities for the surrounding community," said Noviana Adinda Putri, owner of Hijab by Adinda.
