Dito Ariotedjo, a young entrepreneur and politician, now has a new position. He was appointed as the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) replacing Zainuddin Amali who resigned after being elected as the vice chairman of PSSI.

Dito was officially inaugurated by President Jokowi on Monday (3/4/2023). For those who are curious, here are some facts about this new Menpora.

His full name is Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo but he is commonly called Dito. He was born in Jakarta on September 25, 1990. So this year he is not yet 33 years old.

His last name may be familiar to some people. Yes, for those who are wondering, Dito is the younger brother of Doctor and TV Personality Mesty Ariotedjo. Dito is also the grandson of Sri Bima Ariotedjo, the Indonesian ambassador to the Philippines during the era of President Soeharto.

Dito is already married and really loves his wife, Niena KR. They have also been blessed with a daughter named Sadia. He even brought his daughter with him when he was sworn in as a minister.

Dito is a member of the Golkar Party. His name was proposed by the party's chairman as the Minister of Youth and Sports. Now, Dito is the youngest minister in this cabinet.

Aside from being a politician, Dito is also an entrepreneur. He has also served as the Chef de Mission of the Indonesian contingent to the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Argentina and is a member of the Indonesian Cycling Sports Association (ISSI) of DKI Jakarta.
