The Lion Air plane on the Jakarta - Pangkal Pinang flight route was reported to have crashed shortly after losing contact 18 minutes after takeoff this morning, Monday (29/10). Quickly, Basarnas deployed all SAR teams, divers, and also underwater robots to carry out the rescue mission. Curious about what the photos look like?

Another sad news has reached Indonesia. The Lion Air plane with code JT610 heading to Pangkal Pinang was reported to have crashed in the waters of Tanjung Karawang, West Java.

Until now, Basarnas (National SAR Agency) is still searching for the wreckage of the plane that crashed in the waters of Karawang.

<nil>

Not only that, the SAR team and underwater robots were also deployed to search for the victims, reportedly more than 193 passengers (including the pilot, technicians, and flight attendants).

By using RUV (Remote Underwater Vehicle), the search for victims and the aircraft wreckage can be conducted more thoroughly. The search area can also be wider.

Equally important, the Black Box or flight data recorder, has become one of the aircraft components that is currently the focus of the search.

So far, search efforts are ongoing. It has been reported that many aircraft debris and some victims have already been found.

This is a snapshot of when Basarnas officers collected debris and fragments of the aircraft they found floating in the sea.

Not only Basarnas, Pertamina also assists in the evacuation process of the wreckage of Lion Air JT-610. As reported by Liputan6, PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ) deployed 3 of their ships to assist in the search process.

Well, hopefully the rescue efforts and the evacuation of the wreckage and victims of Lion Air go smoothly and bring good news for all of us.
