In 2003, Rohani graduated from high school and met a Swiss man in Samosir, as reported by HaiBunda.
At that time, they were still dating and decided to study in Switzerland. In that country, they were required to get married in order to stay.
Unfortunately, their desire to get married was not approved by the husband's family. Eventually, they decided to get married in Samosir. However, the husband had to meet the requirement of having a family name, which made their marriage more complicated and not approved.
In the end, Rohani gathered Rp40 million by working to pay the sinamot money (the amount given to the woman's side before marriage).
Rohani and her husband agreed to divorce in 2009.
Watching her video on the YouTube channel Ucok 'n' Butet Family, this woman, who is affectionately called Hani, revealed that her family was insulted for being poor by her husband and his family in Switzerland.
Rohani now refuses an invitation to reconcile with her ex-husband.
