Heavy rain that poured on Jakarta on Monday afternoon caused landslides in the surrounding area of Kalisari, Pasar Rebo.
As a result, one house also collapsed due to the moving soil.
After examination, it was found that the damaged house was built on a green area.
The homeowner doesn't even have a Building Permit to construct the house.
"These are buildings constructed without permission and without considering structural strength," said Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan when inspecting the location.
He admitted that an audit will be conducted and houses at risk will be demolished.
"So for those who live there, they have a choice. The choice is to stay like this or move to another safer place," he emphasized.
