The flash flood itself hit Madiun regency on Wednesday (6/3) at 01:00 in the morning.

A total of 6 sub-districts were affected, namely Pilangkenceng, Saradan, Balerejo, Wungu, Mejayan, Wonoasri, and Madiun. The flood can even reach a height of 1.5 meters.

The flood was caused by excessive rainfall the day before. As a result, the rivers along Madiun district overflowed and flooded people's houses.

The SAR team is trying to evacuate the residents. Approximately 515 people have been evacuated after the flood disaster.
