The first trailer for GRAND THEFT AUTO VI was launched on December 4, 2023, although it leaked about 16 hours before its official schedule. After that, fans had to wait about 17 months until the second trailer was finally released on May 6, 2025.

Given the time gap and the approaching game release schedule, many predict that the third trailer is likely to arrive in late July or mid-August 2026.

On the other hand, Rockstar has also opened pre-orders since June 25. The standard edition is priced at US$79.99 or around Rp1.33 million, while the special edition is sold for US$99.99 or around Rp1.66 million. The presence of pre-orders is seen as a sign that the promotional campaign has entered a more serious phase.

2. The End of the World Cup and Take-Two's Agenda in the Spotlight

Now that the final match has taken place on July 19, many fans believe there are no more major global events that could divert public attention from the promotion of GRAND THEFT AUTO VI.

Additionally, attention is also focused on Take-Two Interactive's financial report scheduled for August 7. On several previous occasions, Rockstar has been known to release important announcements ahead of its parent company's agenda.

Moreover, various promotional materials such as a new logo, official cover, about 60 screenshots, and the opening of pre-orders have already been introduced to the public. Many fans feel that these steps seem like preparations for the launch of the latest trailer.
