Kapanlagi.com - Today, Tuesday (2/2), an unusual sight shocked the residents of Los Angeles, United States. The iconic sign 'HOLLYWOOD' located in Griffith Park, Mount Lee, Hollywood Hills suddenly showed a different writing, namely 'HOLLYBOOB'.
Upon seeing this, the LA police immediately took action to hunt down the individuals responsible for this illegal act. As reported from the Los Angeles Times Instagram account, the 6 perpetrators have been arrested.
From their confession, they stated that their actions were done as a form of conveying a message about breast cancer awareness. The perpetrators themselves consist of 5 men and 1 woman whose identities have not been officially released by the police.

The six perpetrators are considered to have committed minor offenses and were released after receiving a warning. According to the police, there was no vandalism because the HOLLYWOOD sign itself was not damaged at all due to their actions.
The story goes that the perpetrators covered the letter W on the sign with a giant cloth in the shape of the letter B. Then, on the final letter (D), the perpetrators added a strip in the middle to make it resemble the letter B. From there, the HOLLYBOOB sign was created, which was clearly visible from various parts of the city and caused a sensation.
It should be noted that this is not the first time the HOLLYWOOD sign has been tampered with by mischievous individuals. In 2017, a similar incident also caused a sensation. However, the difference was that the writing was changed to HOLLYWEED.
