The name of the transgender person is Jessica Rinrada alias Bagas Rahmatya who comes from Indonesia. She became a hot topic on social media when she performed the umrah pilgrimage with her family in the holy land of Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Jessica or Bagas, who has transformed her physical appearance to that of a woman, wore the ihram clothing usually worn by men during the sacred umrah pilgrimage. Because of her contrasting appearance, Jessica immediately became the center of attention in the holy land.

She also experiences the difficulties of carrying out the rituals as a transgender individual.

Many people do not believe that Jessica is a male due to her feminine facial features. She also receives reprimands from people during her time there.

"It's truly a challenge for a transwoman to perform Umrah, but I sincerely accept all the consequences, including being targeted by those who don't believe I am a man. It's because of my overly feminine face and voice," said Jessica Rinrada on TikTok, as quoted on Monday (11/12).

3. Repeatedly Detained by Mosque Security Forces in Masjid Nabawi

Jessica or Bagas admitted that she was detained several times by the security forces in Masjid Nabawi because of her feminine appearance and voice, despite wearing male attire.

"I was detained multiple times by the soldiers of Masjid Nabawi in Madinah because I was always suspected," Jessica explained.

4. Mentioned about the End Times

Not only that, Jessica also felt sad when a merchant mentioned the end times in reference to her.

"There was even a merchant selling robes who said 'end times' in front of me. It was painful, I felt like crying right then and there," she said.

5. Slapped with Awareness to Return to Its Nature

Slapped with awareness while performing worship in the Holy Land, Jessica realizes that everything that happens is a response from God to her. She firmly wants to return to her nature as a man.

"I am aware that this is my punishment from Allah all this time, asking for your prayers, friends, hopefully I can quickly return to my rightful nature without any turmoil," she said.

"Until now, I still ask Allah to expand His patience and provide comfort for worship in His house peacefully without being targeted by soldiers. Please pray for me to stay strong until the end of the umrah pilgrimage,” Jessica wrote in the caption of her video on TikTok.
