Ahead of Ramadan, NET Holds Short Film Festival and Stand Up Comedy Video Competition

Kapanlagi.com - In a few weeks, the month of Ramadan will arrive, and television broadcasts will feature entertainment programs related to the holy month. Just like NET, which will hold a short film festival and stand up comedy video competition with the theme 'Entertainment that Becomes Guidance' before Ramadan.

The short film festival and stand up comedy video competition are open to the public, with the requirement to submit their work through the Net Mediatam microsite in the form of respective YouTube links. In addition, submissions can be sent directly to NET in the form of DVDs along with the participation form, which can be downloaded through the NET Media Televisi website.

The period for submitting short films and stand up comedy videos will start from March 15 to April 10, 2021.

1. Stay Active Amidst the Pandemic

As the VP of Promotion Strategic NET, Eko Yuwono revealed that in the upcoming short film festival and stand-up comedy competition, they will invite communities to stay active despite the ongoing pandemic situation.

“We invite the short film community, the Stand Up Comedy community, students and university students, and students in boarding schools to stay active and share positive values to the society amidst the pandemic. Hopefully, this event can bring forth potential new filmmakers and stand-up comedians who can present interesting storytelling content with value through short films and stand-up comedy,” explained Eko Yuwono.

2. Requirements for Short Film Festival and Stand-Up Comedy

The requirements for the short film festival are that participants' works must be in MP4 format with Full HD quality and a maximum duration of 15 minutes. As for the stand-up comedy video, the maximum duration is 3 minutes. Participants can use any camera to create their videos as long as the visual and audio quality is clear when watched, and the standard resolution must be 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Participants must create works that are interesting, entertaining, and have a positive impact on society. The ideas and content must be original and not violate any laws or copyrights, must not contain pornography, and must not contain hate speech or discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, or race.

3. Prize Obtained by Winners

For participants who have original short film and stand-up comedy works, they can be sent online in the form of a YouTube link through the NET Mediatama microsite. In addition, participants' works can also be sent directly to the Public Relations of PT NET Mediatama Televisi, The East Building 28th Floor, Jl. DR Ide Anak Agung Gde Agung Kav E.3.2 No.1 South Jakarta, in the form of a DVD and an entry form, as well as an participation agreement that can be downloaded on the same microsite.

As for the prizes for the winners, NET has prepared a prize of Rp 5,000,000 for the 1st place winner of the short film festival. The 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive Rp 3,000,000 each. For the stand-up comedy video competition, the 1st place winner will receive Rp 7,000,000, the 2nd place winner will receive Rp 5,000,000, and the 3rd place winner will receive Rp 3,000,000.
