First Match, Jonatan Christie to Face Refugee Contingent Athlete at Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Kapanlagi.com - Indonesia is sending a series of pride athletes to compete in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. One of them is Jonatan Christie, a young athlete who won the Men's Singles match at Istora Senayan, Jakarta in the 2018 Asian Games. The athlete, who is familiarly called Jojo, is currently ranked 7th in the world.

In his first match at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Jojo will compete against the representative of the refugee contingent, Mahmoud Aram (EOR). EOR is an acronym given by the IOC (International Olympics Committee) for the refugee or displaced persons contingent.

The match between Jonatan Christie and Mahmoud Aram will take place on Saturday, July 24, 2021, and will be broadcasted LIVE by Indosiar starting from 06:30 AM WIB.
