Kapanlagi.com - Deep sorrow enveloped thousands of online motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers in Jakarta. They gathered to accompany the departure of one of their colleagues, Affan Kurniawan, who became a victim during the demonstration on August 28. The remains of the late Affan were buried at the Karet Bivak Public Cemetery (TPU), Jakarta, on Friday (29/8/2025). Before being buried, Affan Kurniawan's body was first prayed over at Al-Falah Mosque, Menteng.At around 09:30 AM WIB, the funeral procession moved towards the cemetery, accompanied by a long line of the ojol community, showing a strong sense of solidarity among them. The funeral ceremony took place solemnly, colored by the sobs of the family who could not hold back their sadness. Thousands of ojol-clad crowds also continued to escort the procession until the remains of Affan Kurniawan were buried around 11:00 AM WIB.
