Bimbim SLANK's Father Passes Away, Mother Iffet Stays Strong Asking Her Children to Be Sincere

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news comes from the family of Bimbim Slank. Bimbim's father, Sidharta M Soemarno, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 21:27 WIB at Asri Hospital in Jakarta. After being laid to rest at the funeral home in the Duren Tiga area, South Jakarta, Bimbim's father's body was buried at the Karet Bivak Public Cemetery (TPU), Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (5/3/2024). The procession carrying Bimbim's father's body arrived at the cemetery at 13:00 WIB. Not only family and Slank personnel, but a number of Bimbim's friends also attended to accompany his father's body to its final resting place, including Indra Q, Bunga Citra Lestari and her husband, Ezra Simanjuntak, and many more.

Together with his two siblings, Masto and Adrian Sidharta, Bimbim also descended into the grave to bury his father's body. Shortly after, Adrian, as the eldest son, recited the adzan and iqamah before his beloved father's body was covered with a mound of red earth. Bimbim Slank appeared to be following the funeral process of his father with great solemnity. Meanwhile, verses from the holy Quran and kind words were recited during the funeral procession of Bimbim Slank's father. Then, the burial process continued with prayers and tahlil. On this occasion, Bang Denny, representing the family as well as the management of Slank, gave a speech to the mourners present.
