Kapanlagi.com - Sad news comes from Agam, West Sumatra. After the recent eruption of Mount Marapi, the districts of Tanah Datar and Agam in West Sumatra were hit by cold lahar floods. The flood was so strong that some residents were unable to save themselves. According to the report from the West Sumatra Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), at least 37 people have been reported dead and 10 others are undergoing treatment. Efforts to search for victims and evacuate them are still ongoing.Meanwhile, several national roads to Agam and Tanah Datar districts cannot be passed due to the cold lahar floods. The West Sumatra BPBD also reported that they are still collecting data on houses affected by the cold lahar floods in both districts.
