It is said that the lava was directed towards Kali Bebeng and lasted for 149 seconds. The Balai Penyelidikan dan Pengembangan Teknologi Kebencanaan Geologi (BPPTKG) advised residents in the surrounding area to stay 1.5 kilometers away. In their social media account, BPPTKG also wrote, "Based on monitoring data, the magma supply is still ongoing, which can trigger pyroclastic flows in the potential danger zone."
