As reported by the MK Public Relations, the agenda of today's trial is to listen to expert witnesses in criminal law presented by the petitioner (Marwa). According to expert witness Ahmad Sofian, any person, including parents who are not the custodian of the child based on a legally binding court decision, who takes away the child, should be considered a criminal act as regulated in Article 330 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code, even if the child has given consent to the act of taking away. Marwa also revealed that she is prohibited from providing food to her two children who have been living with Atalarik Syah, her ex-husband, for 7 years. She suspects that her children have been brainwashed.
