Ferry Irawan has been released from prison since August 17, 2023 after serving 2/3 of his sentence. Together with his legal team, Sunan Kalijaga and Agustinus Nahak, Ferry is trying to clear his name from the label as a mokondo man and a husband who did not provide maintenance when married to Venna Melinda.
Sunan Kalijaga stated that all the accusations from Venna Melinda's lawyer addressed to Ferry are not true. They revealed one by one the evidence that shows that this 46-year-old actor is still providing maintenance until January 2023, when the domestic violence case in Kediri struck.
