Now, the sequel titled HAMKA & SITI RAHAM is ready to be shown in theaters on December 21. Fajar Bustomi, the director, revealed that the biopic of Buya Hamka was prepared as a trilogy. The release process of this film, produced by Starvision and Falcon Pictures, was hindered by the pandemic. The film HAMKA & SITI RAHAM not only tells the story of the cleric and his wife, but also reveals another side of Buya Hamka's friendship with President Soekarno. Hamka and Soekarno have been friends since they were young. However, differences in political views have affected their relationship. In the film, President Soekarno is played by Anjasmara.
