Kapanlagi.com - KLovers,The trial of the case of illegal drug possession involving defendant Ammar Zoni was held again at the West Jakarta District Court. The agenda of today's (16/7/2024) trial is to hear the demands from the Public Prosecutor. In their demand, the Prosecutor's Office demanded that Ammar be imprisoned for twelve years and fined Rp 2 billion. Meanwhile, another defendant named Akri was sentenced to ten years in prison with the same fine. Ammar Zoni was not present at the trial, so he followed the proceedings at Salemba Detention Center via zoom. When Azam Akhmad Akhsya, the Public Prosecutor, read his demand, Ammar claimed that he did not hear it completely. When asked to respond to the demands of the Public Prosecutor by the Chief Judge, Ammar Zoni did not respond. Only then did he whisper and say that he would leave everything to Jon Mathias as his legal advisor.
