Interestingly, this horror genre film is adapted from his personal story as someone who has a sixth sense. In this film, actress Natasha Wilona was chosen to be the lead actress. When first offered to be involved, Wilona immediately agreed because she enjoys the horror genre."After about seventeen years in the entertainment industry, I rarely take on films because I was nonstop with soap operas for eight years. So now, I often choose horror films because I really like watching horror and thriller films," said Wilona on the same occasion. According to Wilona, the filming location of 'Janji Darah' is in a cultural heritage site and it made her scared because of the 'ghosts'.
