The ambulance carrying the body from Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) arrived at 16:54 WIB. Upon arrival, the atmosphere immediately fell silent as family and mourners welcomed the arrival of the body. Hotma's body was then lifted and brought into the house by family members.One hour later, Bams and his mother, Desiree Tarigan, visited the funeral home on foot. As is known, their houses are next to each other on Jalan Pangeran Antasari, as Desiree was previously Hotma Sitompul's ex-wife. Unfortunately, both Bams and Desiree were reluctant to say a word to the media.
