This appointment is part of the Red and White Cabinet under the leadership of President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Giring recounted that at that time he and his team were busy preparing several music projects. As is known, Giring has just released a mini album titled Serigala under the label Musica Studio's. From there, Giring was preparing for his solo tour. However, those plans had to be canceled because Giring received a direct call from Prabowo Subianto asking him to carry out his duties as the Deputy Minister of Culture.
