New Book by Kareena Kapoor Reported to the Police for Allegedly Offending Christians

Kapanlagi.com - Shortly after its release, Kareena Kapoor's new book is facing quite a serious issue. The pregnancy guidebook titled Pregnancy Bible is being sued by a group of Indian Christians.

As reported by Bollywoodlife.com, the group of Christians named Alpha Omega Christian Mahasangh, based in Maharashtra, has filed a complaint with the police. They are not happy with Kareena using the word Bible in her pregnancy book.

According to Ashish Shinde, the chairman of Alpha Omega Christian Mahasangh, the use of the word Bible, which means the Bible, has hurt the feelings of Christians. They believe that the use of the word Bible here is an act of disrespect towards the Christian religion.

1. Sue the Publisher

Ashish Shinde, the chairman of Alpha Omega Christian Mahasangh, filed a lawsuit at the Shivaji Nagar police station. He is suing the second author of the books, Aditi Shah Bhimjani.

In addition to suing the second author of the Pregnancy Bible book, the group is also suing Juggernaut Books, the publisher. However, they did not file a lawsuit against Kareena Kapoor as the first author.

Unfortunately, the lawsuit was rejected by the police targeted by Alpha Omega Christian Mahasangh. The local police suggested that the group file the lawsuit with the Mumbai police, where the publisher and author reside.

2. Kareena Has Not Responded

The Pregnancy Bible book itself was just released on July 9th. Kareena refers to this book as her third child, after Taimur and Jeh.

Regarding the allegations of harassment received by her new book, Kareena has not responded. The actress's spokesperson is still silent about the controversy that is currently being discussed in India.
