Famous actress Alia Bhatt has just revealed that she suffers from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This was a shocking admission to many, but her friends have known about it for a long time.

According to Theindianexpress.com, in an interview with Lallantop, Alia shared her experiences since childhood. She often daydreamed in class or during conversations, finding it difficult to focus on one thing for a long time. “I have been daydreaming since I was a child. I often daydreamed in class or in the middle of a conversation,” she revealed.

Alia then took a psychological test that confirmed her high spectrum of ADHD. She explained how this diagnosis clarified many things in her life. “Then I realized why I feel so at peace when I'm in front of the camera. I can stay present in that moment,” she said.

When in front of the camera, Alia feels more connected and focused. "I don’t know if it’s because of the character or what, but I am more present at that moment," she added. In addition, she also finds peace when she is with her daughter, Raha.

She stated, "And of course, after Raha was born, every time I am with her, I am most present in that moment. I feel peaceful at those times, and also mentally present." This shows how the presence of her daughter means a lot to her well-being.

Previously, Alia also shared about how ADHD affects her life. "It has to be something you can do very quickly. I have ADHD and I'm not interested in spending too much time," she said. She described her desire to do everything quickly, including during her wedding.

"On my wedding day, my makeup artist, Puneet (B. Saini), said, 'Alia, this time you need to give me two hours.' I said, 'You've lost your mind. Especially on my wedding day, I don't want to give two hours because I want to relax,'" she reminisced casually.

This revelation created mixed reactions. Alia's friends were already aware of this condition, and when she shared it, they said, 'This is not a big revelation because of my personality.' Alia was surprised to hear that, 'But, I didn't know.'
