After a long silence, Saif Ali Khan finally spoke about the attack he experienced at his home recently. In an interview reported by Hindustantimes, Saif discussed many new facts regarding the case he faced. One of them was the reaction from Taimur Ali Khan.

According to Saif's account to Hindustan Times, Taimur, who was 8 years old at the time, displayed remarkable calmness. When Saif felt excruciating pain in his back after the fight with the attacker, Taimur asked, “Are you going to die?” Upon hearing his father's reassuring answer, “No,” Taimur firmly stated, “I will come with you.”

After the incident, the situation became even more dramatic. Saif, whose kurta was soaked in blood, along with Kareena and his children rushed to find transportation to the hospital. They struggled to find a vehicle in the early hours of the morning. Saif recalled the moment, “My wife was panicking, calling here and there, but no one was answering the phone. We looked at each other, and I said, ‘I am fine. I will not die.’

Taimur's decision to accompany his father to the hospital turned out to give Saif a sense of strength. “He was really calm. He was fine. He said, ‘I will go with you.’ And I thought, if something happens... I felt very comforted just by seeing him at that moment. And I didn’t want to go alone,” Saif explained.

Kareena, Saif's wife, sent Taimur to accompany his father to the hospital. Saif explained, “Maybe it wasn't the right decision at that moment, but I felt happy. I also thought, if something happens, I want him to be there. And he wanted to be there too. So, we went – him, me, and Hari – by rickshaw,” he added.

After undergoing surgery, Saif's condition has been reported as stable and in recovery. Saif Ali Khan's representatives have issued an official statement emphasizing that his children, including Taimur and Jeh, are safe during the incident.
