Inara Rusli and Virgoun returned to the South Jakarta Religious Court for their divorce mediation on Wednesday (7/6/2023). Accompanied by their lawyers, Inara arrived first at around 10:00 AM.
Shortly after, Virgoun arrived in a black car. He wore a brown hood, black sunglasses, and a mask. On that occasion, Virgoun chose to remain silent.
Despite being bombarded with various questions, Virgoun, who was accompanied by four police officers, remained silent as he entered the courtroom.
When asked about the escort, one of Virgoun's legal team denied intentionally requesting police escort.
"No, it's not an escort. The police officers are here because of a land dispute case. It just happens that they're here," said Sandy Arifin, Virgoun's legal representative.
Shortly after Virgoun entered the courtroom, Inara, who had been waiting in the waiting room, also entered the courtroom. The two met for the first time in the divorce court.
Inara admitted that it was not her first time meeting Virgoun since filing for divorce. She had previously met Virgoun outside the courtroom when Virgoun wanted to meet their child.
"No (this is not the first time since filing for divorce). (Virgoun) has already met his child before," said Inara.
Inara did not make any special preparations for this trial. However, she stated that she was ready to attend the mediation agenda.
"I have already had breakfast," she said.
After a few minutes in the main hearing room for a closed trial, Virgoun and Inara were seen walking towards the mediation room.
In the mediation room, Inara and Virgoun were seen sitting side by side with separate chairs facing the mediator judge. It is not known exactly what they were discussing.
