Apparently, before pursuing acting, Btari Karlinda started her career in modeling. In 1987, she successfully became the 3rd place winner in a competition held by GADIS magazine.
Thanks to her achievements, she began to appear in various covers of famous magazines in Indonesia.
It was her modeling skills that led Btari Karlinda to get a role in the legendary film Catatan Si Boy.
Playing the character of Ina, Btari Karlinda appeared stunningly as the younger sister of the character Boy played by Onky Alexander. Their excellent collaboration undoubtedly helped Catatan Si Boy become a hit in its era.
Although the film she starred in was a hit, Btari Karlinda admitted that she did not enjoy the process of being involved in the world of acting. For her, the acting she displayed was not at its best because she felt she was not talented in that world.
