"So it's viral again (other artists). That's why my journalist friends, when interviewing us artists, don't get too close. Keep the phone a little distance away from our faces. But it's okay," said Caren Delano with a laugh when met at the Setiabudi Police Station, South Jakarta, Friday (6/10).

As a normal human being, Caren Delano admitted to feeling annoyed and sad when reading various nasty comments from netizens.

"Actually, if we read each comment one by one, as humans, we would also get angry. But what can you do, I don't even know those netizens, it's okay for them to say whatever they want. Although honestly, last night when I read each comment, it made me really sad. It's just that those netizens can only talk," she explained.

"Actually, I'm really indifferent about things like that. But celebrities are also human. If people keep gossiping about us, it affects our feelings too. But this time, there are so many people gossiping, more than 800 people," continued Caren Delano.

Actually, Caren Delano felt from the beginning that there was a journalist's camera from the right side that was focusing on her very closely.

"It seems like the angle is from the right side. I wonder who took it? Because yesterday when I was with bang Sandy (Arifin), I said to him, 'Bang Sandy, from the beginning I was sure there was a camera here (on the right) like this, the camera can't move back a bit,'" she said.

Because honestly, she doesn't have confidence in her face that has large pores and acne scars.

"Because my lack of confidence is actually there, large pores, acne scars. I know that's the thing that I'm most insecure about. Until now, when I meet a camera, it's not that I'm afraid to speak, I'm afraid that it will be revealed," she said.

Caren Delano also admitted that she is not ashamed to use filters on social media to make her face look smoother.

"There are so many features in our apps that we just follow the trend. There's one called BeautyPlus that makes us all look beautiful. Is it okay? According to me, it's totally fine. This is social media, not the real world. If we meet in person, you can see my pores, wrinkles, and ugliness," she concluded.
