This trip around the world has been Casie De Pecol's dream since she was a child, KLovers. She realized her dream of traveling around the world after successfully graduating from college. Casie De Pecol refers to her journey as an expedition.
In planning this trip, Casie De Pecol took three years to make a plan and worked hard to gather the funds for her journey. Because, of course, there were many things to prepare for traveling to 196 countries.
During this expedition, Casie De Pecol spent her time developing a business plan, creating vlogs, as well as educational documentary films so that her journey could benefit many people.
Running her expedition, of course, did not go smoothly. Casie De Pecol encountered many challenges. In fact, she almost wanted to give up on pursuing her dream.
One of them was when Casie De Pecol was in Yemen. She had difficulty entering the country due to the high terrorist activities in Yemen. However, after being able to enter and carry out her expedition, Casie was not allowed to leave. Nevertheless, she was eventually allowed to leave.
Meanwhile, Casie also found a new meaning in her journey. She met kind people who touched her heart. One of them was a taxi driver who allowed Casie to stay at his family's house when she ran out of cash. She slept in a bedroom while the taxi driver and his family slept on the kitchen floor so that Casie wouldn't feel cold.
Casie proved in her expedition that in a harsh and scary world, there will always be kind people who sincerely help.
Casie also collected evidence of her journey as documentation. In addition to her passport, she also collected travel tickets, photos, videos, GPS coordinates, credit card bills, phone logs, and signed witness statements.
