Ira Wibowo was overwhelmed with grief some time ago due to her father's passing. After her father's departure, Ira flew to Europe and had the opportunity to meet her mother in Germany. The deep sorrow still lingers, and she tightly embraced her mother. Here are the details.
Ira Wibowo recently flew to Europe. She admitted that initially, she had no intention of meeting her mother because she had other commitments, namely participating in a dance festival.
"Actually, my departure to Europe this time is to participate in a dance festival in Paris with fellow dancers," Ira wrote on her Instagram.
"Journey to Germany wasn't part of the plan, since mom just spent a month with me in Indonesia. But with dad's departure, it feels impossible for us not to meet." Ira continued.
"This meeting feels different. When I first saw mom, we didn't say anything, just hugged each other without words," said the 55-year-old woman.
"We both know each other's feelings. The embrace that I have longed for so much and also desperately needed," added Ira Wibowo.
"Mom's embrace has greatly helped me through the mixed feelings I have been experiencing lately. I love you so much, mom," Ira wrote.
Although the meeting was short, Ira and her mother had dinner together and went for a walk. They still managed to take a stroll around the lake despite the unfavorable weather.
Ira also expressed her love to her mother multiple times, who is the only parent left. What Ira did instantly touched netizens.
