The 32-year-old woman is afraid that her ex-husband will take their children abroad.
"Marwa does not want to give passports because she is afraid that the children will be taken abroad, Marwa is also afraid," said Herdyan Saksono, Tsania's legal counsel, when contacted by phone on Tuesday (31/10/2023).
Suspicion that her two children will be taken abroad is not without reason. After a long trial, Tsania Marwa finally got custody of her children.
Even during the execution, the court's representatives found her two children locked inside a room. Tsania Marwa suspects that her children's actions are influenced by their ex-husband.
"The children were not handed over to Marwa even though Marwa has the custody rights. So Arik started to become rebellious, disrespectful, and cruel," said Herdyan.
"Then Arik brainwashed the children, making them believe that their mother is the villain because she didn't give them gifts and such, even though she did offer gifts, but they were rejected by Arik. So it's like Arik brainwashed the children," Herdyan continued.
To fight for the custody of her two children, which should be granted to her, Tsania Marwa, along with her legal counsel, will take these steps.
"I plan to file a Judicial Review to the Constitutional Court regarding Article 330 paragraph 1 concerning child custody," she concluded.
