Raffi Ahmad accompanied by his first son, Rafathar, accompanied legendary Manchester United goalkeeper, Peter Schmeichel, when they wanted to play fun football with Celebrities FC at the TNI AU field, Pancoran, South Jakarta, Sunday (6/8/2023).
Wearing a red shirt with the words Vidio, Raffi and Peter Schmeichel were warmly welcomed by the Celebrities FC players who had arrived earlier at the field, such as Iko Uwais, Darius Sinathrya, Ikmal Tobing, Bastian Steel, Augie Fantinus, and many more.
Together with Peter Schmeichel, the Celebrities FC team only played fun football. Celebrities FC was divided into two teams, namely the blue and pink costume teams. Later, both teams received challenges from Peter Schmeichel.
As for the Selebritis FC players who joined in blue costumes, there are Iko Uwais, Said Badjuri, Ikmal Tobing, Jenda Munthe, and many more. Meanwhile, the team in pink costumes includes Darius Sinathrya, Augie Fantinus, Samsir Alam, Bastian Steel, and many more.
There are three challenges that must be played by the Selebritis FC players. The first is the crossbar challenge or shooting at the goalpost. The second is the free kick. And the third is the penalty kick.
Although it's just for fun football, the Selebritis FC players were happy to play with Peter Schmeichel. The happiness was evident when Peter Schmeichel arrived on the field with Raffi Ahmad.
Not only shaking hands, the players of Selebritis FC also took photos with the goalkeeper who had joined Manchester City. In addition to photos, some players of Selebritis FC also asked for autographs from the 59-year-old footballer.
After the fun football event, one of the players of Selebritis FC expressed his happiness of being able to meet Peter Schmeichel. He is Bastian Steel. As a big fan of Manchester United, the member of the vocal group TBA said he was happy to meet and take photos with Peter Schmeichel.
"I'm happy, really happy. Even though it wasn't during Peter Schmeichel's time at Manchester United, there is definitely a sense of pride," said Bastian in the Pancoran area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (8/6/2023).
"This is a legendary club that I idolize. He's really nice, funny, and has jokes too, so we're not tense. He tries to blend in," Bastian added.
As known, Schmeichel's presence in Indonesia is indeed intended to fulfill Vidio's invitation as the official broadcaster of the English Premier League in Indonesia.
