Baby Kenan has been diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia, which is commonly experienced by firstborns and baby girls due to their breech position during pregnancy.

People with Hip Dysplasia can become lame and even their thigh bone can come out of the hip socket if the condition is not immediately treated.

Hip Dysplasia itself can be corrected with surgery. However, in baby Kenan's case, the condition is still mild so it can be corrected using the Palvik Harness.

For 6 weeks after consulting with the doctor, baby Kenan has to use the assistive device for 23 hours every day before a reassessment of his bone condition.

In the early days of using Palvik Harness, baby Kenan became fussy and woke up at night because he felt uncomfortable being in a squatting position almost all day long.

Baby Kenan became calm and cheerful again when his Palvik Harness could be taken off for 1 hour. However, as time went by, baby Kenan also started to adapt and slowly became less fussy when using the assistive device.
