Dewa 19 will once again amaze the Baladewa at their latest concert. Not only that, Ahmad Dhani even invited 4 world rockstars to perform together at the Dewa 19 All Star Stadium Tour 2023.
And today, Wednesday (26/7), the rockstars, namely Phil X, Derek Sherinian, Jeff Scott Soto, and Dino Jelusick, held a press conference. What does it look like? Check it out here!
Here are the rockstars who will perform with Dewa 19. From left to right, there's Jeff Scott Soto, Phil X who is the guitarist for Bon Jovi, Derek Sherinia (former keyboardist for Dream Theater), and Dino Jelusick who is one of the members of the rock band Whitesnake.
When meeting with journalists, these rock stars revealed the beginning of their collaboration with Dewa 19. Apparently, each person has a different opinion.
For example, Jeff Scott, a rocker who apparently loves Betawi soup, met Ahmad Dhani and others in America. They collaborated to play the song Love Is Blind. Dewa 19's dedication to music also made Jeff Scott interested in Dewa 19.
Meanwhile, Phil X revealed that in collaboration with Dewa 19, musicians are given the freedom to express their musical style. He even didn't rule out the possibility of collaborating frequently with Dewa 19.
Derek Sherinian even visited Ahmad Dhani's restaurant and museum. From there, he was impressed with Dhani and gladly collaborated with Dewa 19.
Meanwhile, Dino Jelusick revealed that he has collaborated with Ahmad Dhani. They even released a remake song titled Akulah Arjuna. In the future, he hopes to maintain a good relationship with Dhani.
