11 Chronology of the Accident Involving Larasati Nugroho, From Scraping a Motorcycle to a Car Overturning in Ulujami

The police confirmed that she was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the accident. "The traffic accident occurred on Ulujami street on Thursday at 02:45 AM WIB," said Kompol Nurma Dewi at the South Jakarta Police Station on Thursday (30/1/2025).

Larasati was reportedly just dropping off a friend before the accident occurred. "So she finished dropping off her friend who lives around Ulujami, then she lost concentration and hit a motorcycle that was being ridden by one person," explained Nurma Dewi.

After hitting the motorcycle, Larasati continued to drive and crashed into an empty cart on the side of the road. "Then she continued driving and crashed into the empty cart which had no one around," she added.

Larasati's car finally crashed into a tree and overturned. "However, after that, she hit a tree at the scene and her car flipped over. That's what happened according to the driver's statement," she said.

The police confirmed that Larasati was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident. "From the Traffic Unit, a urine test was conducted and the result was negative, she did not use or consume drugs," said Nurma Dewi.

Evidence that has been secured includes the vehicle, driver's license (SIM A), and vehicle registration (STNK) belonging to Larasati. "One STNK, then the vehicle or car is already at the Traffic Accident Unit, and the driver's SIM A has been secured at the South Jakarta Police Traffic Unit," she revealed.

As a result of this incident, Larasati suffered minor injuries. "She has already been questioned because her condition is healthy, she only has injuries on her head and then on her arm," said Nurma Dewi.

The main cause of the accident is still under further investigation. However, based on initial statements, Larasati admitted to losing concentration due to fatigue. "According to her statement, she was not focused because it was already late at night. Since it was night, the incident indeed occurred at 02:45 in the early morning," she said.

The police are also looking for the motorcyclist who was grazed by Larasati's car before the accident occurred. "That is what the Traffic Police are searching for; they are currently looking for and questioning them," she said.

Fortunately, this accident did not result in any fatalities. "Currently, there are minor injuries on the forehead and then on the hand," said Nurma Dewi.

After undergoing an initial examination, Larasati was allowed to go home and was scheduled to return the next day for further questioning. "For now, go home first, come back tomorrow for questioning," she concluded.
