11 Touching Portraits of Nurul Qomar's Children, Witnessing Their Father's Legacy of Spreading Happiness

The passing of legendary comedian Nurul Qomar leaves a deep sorrow, not only for the entertainment world of the country but also for his family. Arya Bahupringga and Soebagja Salim, Qomar's two sons, shared memories and the last messages from their father.

"During the early stages of treatment, Abah was conscious, there were many interactions, many relatives and friends came to visit to encourage Abah. But Abah, we saw, was truly extraordinary during the treatment process itself," said Arya Bahupringga when met at TPU Carang Pulang, Tangerang Regency, Thursday (1/9/2024).

According to Arya, during the long treatment period, Qomar showed an extraordinary fighting spirit. Even in the final moments of his life, Qomar's thoughts were always directed towards his family, especially his children.

"Even until the last moments, we still saw Abah's fighting spirit, because we know from the family, not from himself. But his thoughts were more on the family, the children," Arya said with deep emotion.

One thing that was always on Qomar's mind until the end of his life was the future of his youngest daughter who was only eight years old. His worries and hopes for his children were what kept him motivated.

"We still have a younger sibling who is 8 years old, so that is definitely on Abah's mind, and it was until the very last moment before Abah finally left us," Arya continued.

Meanwhile, Soebagja Salim, Qomar's second child, shared meaningful moments he experienced with his father during the treatment period. One of the most memorable moments was when the whole family gathered around Qomar on the hospital bed.

"During the treatment, many messages were given to the family. But perhaps the most impactful for us is that we all gathered together with Abah again on the bed, in the treatment room, with the children surrounding Abah and Ibu," said Soebagja.

The messages from Qomar to his children left a deep impression. Although each child has a different life path, Qomar always instilled strong life principles in them.

"After that, there are definitely messages given to the children, because Abah has dreams for each of his children. All have their own interests, but they definitely follow the principles and values that Abah holds," revealed Soebagja.

The main message that Qomar always conveyed to his family is to always spread happiness, no matter what is done. This value becomes a precious inheritance for his children to lead their lives moving forward.

"Abah conveyed, whatever we do must spread happiness," said Soebagja emotionally.
