Comedian Bopak Castello expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Nurul Qomar. He shared about Qomar's condition during the last visit to the ICU before he passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Bopak explained that he received information about Qomar's condition from Rizal. At that time, he immediately visited Qomar in the treatment room.

"Information from a friend from Rizal because when Bopak visited, we communicated in the ICU, in the treatment room, we met. The condition was still the same," said Bopak at the mourning house in the Tangerang area, Wednesday (1/8/2025). Here are the details.

According to Bopak, Qomar's condition during the visit was very weak. In fact, Qomar had not eaten for ten days, and the doctor performed a medical procedure to drain fluid from his stomach.

"So at the beginning when we met, we were just resigned with Teteh, the wife, we prayed, because when we saw Mr. Haji in a weak condition, he hadn't eaten for 10 days. On top of that, there was fluid drainage in his stomach, according to the doctor, if it's clear, then there will be treatment," said Bopak.

Bopak also admitted to continuously monitoring Qomar's condition through information provided by family and friends. He also conveyed this news to Andre Taulany and Denny Cagur. "From there we monitor, we inform on social media, Andre Taulany, Denny also WhatsApped about how Mr. Haji is doing, we told them about the condition we saw. The illness has been suffered by Mr. Haji for a long time," said Bopak.

At the last meeting, Qomar was already in a weak sleeping condition. Nevertheless, Bopak still tried to encourage Qomar.

"The last time we met, he was already asleep, insisting on wanting to talk to Bopak, so we kissed his forehead and prayed for the haji to be healthy. Haji, be patient, whatever happens, haji, remain sincere, and then he slept soundly, we asked for permission when visiting," said Bopak.

Bopak mentioned that the family has sincerely let go of Qomar's departure after his long struggle against illness. He hopes Qomar's good deeds are accepted by Allah. "O Allah, love his friends more, the family has let go. May it be better," he said.

Qomar passed away at 16:20 WIB after several days of intensive care at RSUD Tangerang. The news quickly spread among friends and fellow comedians. "After returning home, we contacted friends who came. Alhamdulillah, friends are praying for everything. When I heard the news at 16:20, Pak Haji Qomar was called," concluded Bopak.
