The crown of Puteri Indonesia 2020 fell into the hands of Raden Roro Ayu Maulida Putri, the representative of East Java province. Ayuma, as she is affectionately called, successfully defeated 38 other participants from all over Indonesia on the final night of Puteri Indonesia 2020, which was held on Friday (6/3) yesterday. This is Ayu Maulida, the winner of the Puteri Indonesia 2020 beauty pageant. She is the representative of East Java Province.
Ayuma is a 22-year-old girl from Surabaya.
Ayuma is a graduate of Airlangga University, majoring in law, class of 2015.
Before participating in the Puteri Indonesia pageant, Ayuma was already well-known as one of the accomplished models.
In 2019, Ayuma brought honor to Indonesia by winning the Face of Asia 2019 title at the Asia Model Festival 2019.
Ayuma also won The Best Catwalk Female Model award at the Indonesia Fashion Week 2019.
Ayuma has shown her modeling talent since she was a child, where she once became the 2nd winner of the Sanggarwati Hijab Contest when she was in 5th grade of elementary school.
In 2017, Ayuma also participated in the Puteri Indonesia pageant, but her journey was halted in the selection round for provincial representatives.
Ayuma also has a social activity called Senyum Desa, where she and the volunteers teach underprivileged children in remote villages.
After this, Ayuma's journey will become more challenging as she has to represent Indonesia in the Miss Universe 2020 pageant.
