Mpok Atiek shares how she was tempted to get silicone injections in her face. She admitted that she was influenced by seeing her friend becoming more beautiful.
This 66-year-old artist said at that time she didn't need to pay for the silicone injections she underwent. A friend offered her the treatment for free.
It turns out Mpok Atiek didn't know that the person injecting the silicone was not a doctor or a professional. She mentioned this on the show Pagi Pagi Ambyar TRANS TV.
"We didn't know that it wasn't a doctor, we didn't know it was from a salon," said Mpok Atiek.
"Because I was so clueless, I didn't ask what was in it (silicone or filler)," she added. Mpok Atiek herself has been getting silicone injections on her face since the 90s until 2010.
"Friends say 'your face looks weird, it's all saggy, it's all droopy,'" said Mpok Atiek. Many relatives commented that her face looked like a witch. 'Sorry, Mpok, your face looks like a witch,' they said," Mpok Atiek imitated her friend's words. Instead of getting good results, Mpok Atiek's face actually changed the opposite way.
He went to the doctor and was advised to have silicone removal surgery to prevent it from turning into cancer. "'If you consult a doctor, it seems like it could be cancer,"' said Mpok Atiek, imitating her friend's words.
