After 25 years of marriage, Ari Lasso and Vitta Dessy have decided to divorce. Through his personal Instagram account, Ari revealed his separation from Vitta. He uploaded this photo, which features his complete family. Ari admitted he was confused about how to start his announcement, but he didn't want the news to become even more unclear. "Uhm.. So, effective SINCE FEBRUARY 2024 (exactly on our silver anniversary), Vitta Dessy and I are OFFICIALLY DIVORCED. For reasons THAT I CANNOT WRITE AND EXPLAIN. PERIOD," Ari wrote to begin his announcement.

"The important thing is that both of us (with the agreement of the children) have agreed to separate amicably, with the help of a lawyer that we appointed, to handle it without leaks. So that this 'unimportant news' doesn't need to spread, because this is indeed a matter of our Family Domestic," he continued.

Ari finally decided to reveal his divorce, because rumors on social media were getting louder and he didn't want any misleading news. "However.. because it has been quite a while, the comments that are 'quite intense' that have been circulating on my social media (which I am quite tired of deleting) and also on several other social media, are becoming 'a bit wild'. So I decided (after discussing with the children) to explain via my IG account. My goal is to prevent all assumptions, rumors, and prejudices from developing 'into slander'. Because we have indeed separated and are living our own lives," Ari continued.

Ari also apologized to his children for failing to be a good Christian head of the family. "What is CERTAIN is that we are okay, the MOST IMPORTANT thing is that the children understand and are okay.One thing I might regret is that I, as the head of the Christian household, have failed to lead and maintain the integrity of our Household as the Christian Marriage Promise should," he continued, mentioning all of his children's names.
