Sad news came from renowned Taiwanese actor Chen Sung Young. The senior actor has just passed away at Taoyuan Chang-Gung Memorial Hospital on Friday (17/12/2021) local time.

Chen Sung Young is known to have passed away at the age of 80 after battling his illness for the past few years.
He is known to have no wife or children, thus leaving a legacy for his Indonesian domestic helper.
The domestic helper is known as Yuli and has been taking care of Chen all this time. Chen even considered Yuli as his own child.
In an interview with Apple Diary, Chen Sung Young once said he would give NT$ 2 million or Rp1.03 billion to Yuli, after previously giving gold jewelry worth NT$ 1,200,000 or Rp 621.3 million.
Chen Sung Young began his acting career in 1970. He has acted alongside Jet Li and received a Golden Horse Awards in historical drama in 1989.
The doctor himself mentioned that Chen could have lived longer if he regularly undergoes dialysis, but he refused the advice.
