"The principal is just chill, she has complied with the law all this time, every collaboration has never had any issues, because we know the rules, so she knows her position, it’s also impossible for her to violate the rules, because this is the first time we have a problem," said Margareth Tacia after the hearing at the Central Jakarta District Court on Monday (12/9/2024).
Although this is the first time Agnez is facing legal issues related to copyright, Margareth ensures that Agnez remains cooperative.
"Agnes Monica herself is cooperative and she always performs in accordance with the provisions of the law," she said.
Although this lawsuit was somewhat surprising, Margareth stated that Agnez is not too concerned about it. However, she admitted that there is a slight disruption due to the ongoing legal process.
"It's still pretty normal. As for being disturbed, yes it's a disturbance, but it goes on, work has to be done," she said.
Margareth ensures that Agnez continues her activities as usual despite facing legal issues. This lawsuit is considered a normal occurrence in the legal world. "Regarding this lawsuit, it's fine, it's normal for people to seek legal recourse," she said.
In the previous hearing, the panel of judges requested the plaintiffs to present witnesses to support their arguments. However, according to Margareth, the presence of these witnesses is not mandatory. "From the panel, they asked for factual witnesses and expert witnesses, but that’s if there are any; if there aren’t, it’s fine," she explained.
