Having been friends for a long time, Ruben Onsu shared moments from his interview with Ivan Gunawan, who had just returned from performing the Hajj, in a video on his YouTube channel uploaded on Thursday (10/6/2025).
"Assalamualaikum wr.wb, right now I am next to Haji Igun. Yes, a goat businessman," said Ruben Onsu, who was then corrected by Ivan Gunawan that he is a clothing businessman.
"Now where are we going to make clothes? At Haji Igun. Right, Haji Igun. That's how we say it now," Ruben said half-jokingly.
"Haji Igun, insyaAllah... insyaAllah," Ivan Gunawan stated in agreement. "Now we don't say 'Mak Igun' anymore. If I hear anyone say 'Mak Igun,' I'm going to punch them," Ruben threatened in his characteristic joking style.
"There’s nothing, nothing at all, just stop it. It’s over, unless it’s a brand that’s already patented, Nasi Kulit Mak Igun" said Igun, agreeing with Ruben's joke.
'Mak Igun' itself is a familiar nickname that Ivan Gunawan's friends call him. And he has never minded that unique nickname.
Ivan Gunawan indeed intends to become a better person in the future after returning from his pilgrimage. He feels that God's help is very real to him.
